Charlotte – a Paparazzi expose!

A few of you have been asking for a little bit more information on my living arrangements with Charlotte.

Well, ok Dave has. And I’m sure Paddy cares (from a customisation point of view). And maybe my sister (well maybe not)

So here are a few inside paparazzi photos (never before seen in print) for you!

Our bedroom

(a) Note the matching sheet and pillow set! My sleeping bag and pj bottoms are concealed for now. 2 pillows are probably wishful thinking though.

(b) Courtesy of Black Friday there is now a 3 inch memory foam cushion on top of the laid down seats!

Under bed storage

Everything sorted and stored in clip fast plastic bins – plus a couple of laundry bags for

(a) dirty washing

(b) larger items such as raincoats etc. The orange item is Laundry detergent.

BTW the foot section lifts up to give easy access

Inbuilt privacy screens on all windows

Note the eski (but forgive the water bottles – at $3 for 40 x 500 ml how can you go past the convenience despite the environmental impact. I’m trying to reuse as many as I can

Oh and the bottle in the passenger seat back is a 1.75 litre Jack Daniels that cost 36 USD at Costco. Oh the agony!

From the front (looking back)

Hard to see but there is a chest of drawers in between the back two seats for assorted items

Overall not the Ritz, but very little to do to make her more comfortable.

There’s cigarette lighter to USB power connection (4 port) so everything charges as I drive – apparently there is a 12 volt to plug charger for a laptop but I’m loathe to try that – Starbucks can pay for my laptop electricity

Power everything. Garmin GPS. Cruise control. Air con. Even inside mood lighting (Night photos to follow). Happy Days

All I need now is a way to attach  a tarp to Charlotte’s side which I’m working on.

Catch y’all soon.

  1. Yep your sister is most interested. HOOLEY dooley it’s tidy – at least for the photos!

  2. That’s really cool. Very well thought out! Good work mate. Stay safe. And good to see you’re re-using the water bottles 🙂

Hi there. Feel free to make a comment if you want. I'll be reading each and every one and getting back to you as soon as I can
