Swipe right or swipe left?
Having done some prep work before leaving Oz, and having swiped right on a few potential options, my first response once I got here came from Charlotte. 28 years of age, originally from Virginia, but now in LA, brown hair and eyes, sporty, really pretty in that down to earth, natural way that screamed I’m not needy.
We agreed to meet. The chemistry was immediate, and after 10 mins it was obvious we were destined to meet and to be together.
And now we are. Officially – well not quite – I still need to get the union properly registered, but that’s all set for Monday morning.
And lovely from behind as well.
Charlotte’s previous partners were 4 Danish guys (I’m not judging!) who spent 82 wonderful days with her as they crossed America from East to West. They didn’t want to split up, but Charlotte just couldn’t afford to go to Denmark with them, and everyone knows how long distance relationships work out, so the parting was inevitable.
That I arrived on the scene, a mere 5 days before they had to leave, just made it seem like destiny. No-one likes being alone and abandoned.
I’ll admit she’s a biggish girl, but she’s the reliable, no-nonsense type, and over the last 82 days had barely complained, not even when she cracked her head open in a parking lot leaving a bit of a scar. She just got down to work, with a minimum of fuss, day after day after day.
Being responsible adults, she and I both go health checks before taking things any further. Clean bills of health all round meant we could take things to the next level.
As seems to happen a lot, Charlotte got the majority of the possessions in the split up – camp chairs, an esky, camp stove, propane, a Garmin sat nav and various travel knick knacks so we have only a little shopping to do before moving in together.
But she stayed over at my place last night for the first time and the last 2 of the Danes (Viktor and Dan) are flying out on Sat so it’s no turning back now.
Oh and for those of you with that sort of mind, here is a quick peek at the matrimonial bedroom.
Lots of home sweet home customising possibilities
4 blokes in the back of that thing?
Not sure but think 2 in the back one in each of the reclining seats, plus a lot of couchsurfing and a few hostels/hotels. They used in more as transport than a home.
